The Hudson Valley Community College men's bowling team participated in and placed first at the Mountain Valley Conference match, hosted by Mohawk Valley at Pin-O-Rama Lanes on Friday afternoon.
The Mountain Valley Conference (MVC) matches are set up to have two separate matches in one day against all of the MVC members. The men took first place in both of the conference matches today. Garrett Bartlett (Brunswick/Tamarac) recorded the high score for the first match as he finished with a game-high of 260 and a series-high of 668. Spencer McClellan (Troy/Lansingburgh) also had a solid first match as he finished with a game-high of 253 and a series-high of 725.
For the second match, Bartlett finished with the Vikings top score with a game-high of 267 and a series-high of 670. Donald Baker (Ravena/Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk) finished the second match with a game-high of 266 and a series-high of 716.
The men's bowling team is back in action Saturday, Jan. 27 as they travel to Fishkill, NY for the Westchester Shootout.
