Hudson Valley's women's soccer student-athletes Susannah Frisch (Cambridge/Cambridge) and Kaitlin Nadeau (Latham/Shaker) were named NJCAA Division III National Players of the Week on Wednesday afternoon.

Frisch was named the NJCAA Division III Player of the Week following a two goal week, including the game-winning goal with under three minutes remaining to give the Vikings the 2-1 win over top-ranked Erie on Saturday (9/23).

Nadeau earned the NJCAA National Division III Goalie of the Week after she led the Vikings to a 2-1 record, including the programs first-ever win over a top-ranked opponent. Nadeau sweeps the weekly awards after being named Player of the Week by NJCAA Region III earlier in the day.

The women's soccer program is receiving votes on the NJCAA weekly poll as one of the top 15 teams in the nation. Women's soccer is back home tonight, Wednesday, Sept. 27 to face No.3 Herkimer with a scheduled start time of 4 p.m.
